Brrrr......
It is another bitter cold day here in Missouri as we close out January. Another blast of Arctic air, and you guessed it, more baby calves!! Ah, I love life on the farm but I am done with the single digit temps. Ready for this Canadian air to head back north!
This month (and year) began with some excitement, a month filled with family, blessings and rest. The cold and the snow slows some of the outside work. We've had some really good visits with family and friends.
In early January, we made a quick trip to Oklahoma City for the Cattlemen's Congress. The new OG&E Coliseum is fantastic!! It is a top notch facility. We had a great time with our kids and friends. Ain't no family like show family!! We enjoyed some fantastic meals at Trappers and the Cattlemen's Steakhouse. Even had a good breakfast at Granny's Kitchen!
